This policy explains what information RetailRank, a product of Altavane ("RetailRank," "Altavane," "we," "us"), handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

RetailRank processes commercial product and market information to provide its services. We do not intentionally use this information to identify individuals.

We may collect business contact and account information, communications, scheduling details, service usage information, and basic technical information needed to operate and secure RetailRank. Authentication, scheduling, hosting, and payment information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf.

We use cookies that are necessary to operate the service and keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure the RetailRank service and dashboard.
• To communicate with you about your account, your requests, and your subscription.
• To maintain reliability, improve the service, and meet our legal and contractual obligations.

RetailRank is operated from Canada. Some of our service providers may store or process information in other jurisdictions, including the United States. Where information is processed outside Canada, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities of that jurisdiction in accordance with its laws.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, accounting, and contractual obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent where it applies. We will respond as required by law.
